A chosen site referred to by Aboriginals as "tabilk-tabilk" meaning "place of many waterholes".

 

Tahbilk Estate, established in 1860 is one of the region’s oldest family owned wineries. Located in the Nagambie Lakes region of Victoria, Australia, it is also the world’s largest single holding of Marsanne vines in the world.

 

Rated as one of the International Wineries of the Year for 2013 by Wine & Spirits Magazine .

Alister Purbrick (CEO of Tahbilk) will be giving a tasting of the infamous Marsanne and Shiraz- taking us through a few different vintages of each.

Flower Lesson Afternoon, last Saturday of every month

Join us for Flower Arranging organised by Moyses Stevens, our professional local florist, who uses seasonal flowers and foliage to produce beautiful arrangements. The workshop starts at 3pm and the session lasts approximately 90 minutes.

Chefs Table evenings

On the ‘Chef’s Table’ evenings, there is a meet and greet in the bar area with the chefs.

After an introduction by the manager guests are seated and service begins.

Six courses are served in total, each with an accompanying wine.

Each dish is introduced by the chefs and there are table visits.

Some of the cooking is performed in the restaurant in front of the guests.

 

Booking is essential due to the preparation involved and the events are quite exclusive with limited tables available.
